On December 11, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Tashihiro Aiki, in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan and exchanged views on upcoming contacts between the two countries at the highest levels.

The Ambassador of Japan expressed gratitude for the fruitful cooperation and assistance provided during his diplomatic activities in the Republic of Tajikistan.

On January 17, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Toshihiro Aiki.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and the further strengthening of cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan in economic and social spheres, personnel training and scientific and cultural ties, the implementation of previously signed cooperation documents, the implementation of joint projects, as well as other areas of mutual interest.

 

 

 

The parties highlighted the importance of further strengthening cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.
