The head of state congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wishing him good health and new successes in his presidential activities.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev thanked the President of Azerbaijan for his attention and congratulations.

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan highlighted the role of high-level reciprocal visits in the development of relations between the two countries. In this regard, the Presidents noted the productive discussions and documents signed during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to Azerbaijan in early July, along with his participation in the Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in the city of Khankendi.

С 23 по 27 ноября 2024 года в г. Худжанд Республики Таджикистан состоялась очередная встреча рабочих групп в Совместной таджикско-узбекской демаркационной комиссии.

В ходе встречи обсуждены вопросы прохождения проектной демаркационной линии таджикско-узбекской Государственной границы.

Встреча прошла в атмосфере дружбы и взаимопонимания.

По итогам встречи подписан соответствующий Протокол.

Следующая встреча состоится на территории Республики Узбекистан.

26 ноября 2024 года в городе Ташкент Первый заместитель министра иностранных дел Республики Таджикистан Исматулло Насредин принял участие и выступил в 14-ой встрече Заместителей министров иностранных дел стран Центральной Азии.

В ходе своего выступления Первый заместитель министра призвал к укреплению регионального сотрудничества в борьбе с угрозами и вызовами современности, включая терроризм и экстремизм, незаконный оборот наркотиков, организованную преступность и проблемы, связанные с изменением климата.

On April 15, 2024, on the sidelines of the Second Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf” in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, met with the Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations and ways of developing political, trade and economic, scientific and cultural, security cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.

The parties expressed their interests in strengthening interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations.

On April 14, 2024, in Tashkent on the sidelines of the Second Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian states and the Gulf Cooperation Council of the Arab countries on Strategic Dialogue, the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin was held with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf Mr. Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the Council in the political, trade, economic and investment sectors.

On April 14, 2024, on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting on the Strategic Dialogue “Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf – Central Asia” in Tashkent, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The Ministers discussed a number of issues of bilateral relations and prospects of cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.

The parties also considered issues related to the preparation of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan.

18 марта 2024 года Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол Республики Таджикистан в Республике Узбекистан А. Рахмонзода встретился с Министром высшего образования, науки и инноваций Республики Узбекистан К. Шариповым.

В ходе встречи стороны обменялись мнениями о текущей ситуации и перспективах развития сотрудничества между Таджикистаном и Узбекистаном в сферах образования, науки и инноваций включая обмены преподавателями и студентами, научные конференции, участие в работе советов по защите диссертационных работ, взаимного обучения, повышение квалификации преподавателей, внедрение цифровых технологий в сферу образования.

Стороны также обсудили вопросы проведения второго Форума ректоров университетов Таджикистана и Узбекистана, запланированный на апрель 2024 года в Ташкенте.
